Dublin Attractions

Dublin doesn’t have a single main attraction, like Rome has the Colosseum, or Paris has the Eiffel Tower, but it does have plenty of things to do at both sides of the River Liffey. The best known attraction in Dublin is the Molly Malone statue on Grafton Street, situated on the south side of the City, Ireland’s top street for Shopping! The south side is also home to most of the city’s museums and both of its cathederals.

The north side of the city has many places of interest including more museums, but the main thing that should be witnessed by the tourist is the amazing atmosphere on the city centre streets like Moore Street and Henry Street.

Travelling out of the city centre may be required to discover what else the city of Dublin has to offer. To the west of the city you will find Phoenix Park, one of the largest city centre parks in the world. To the north of the city on the DART line are Malahide and Howth, two picturesque suburbs, whilst to the south of the river Liffey you will find Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey which is home to amongst others, U2′s Bono!
